Guy Nicholas "Nick" Beasley I

Guy Nicholas "Nick" Beasley I 86, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his home in Madill.   He was born August 3, 1932 in Madill to the late Guy Keel Beasley and Hazel Welch Beasley.  Nick grew up in Madill where he graduated high school in 1950.  He later graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1958 where he received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.  Nick married Patsy Linelle Smith on January 12, 1957 and she preceded him in death on June 1, 2005.  In 1962 he moved to Altus, Oklahoma and worked at the Altus Air Force Base serving as the Deputy Base Civil Engineer.  Nick moved back to Madill and worked as an Area Engineer for the Army Corp of Engineers.  In 1987 at the age of 55 he started his own land surveying business "Beasley Engineering and Surveying" and retired after 10 years. He later married Oteka Leflore Minter on November 18, 2006 in Madill.  Nick was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Madill, the NRA, and the Masonic Lodge.  He loved his family, rooting for OU, and he enjoyed watching football, woodworking, and traveling.
