Obituary

Samuel Bruce Robinson was born in Madill, Oklahoma to Velma and John Ivan Robinson on February 5th, 1961. He attended Madill schools until 1976. In 1976, his family moved to Tupelo, Mississippi. He graduated from Gateway College of Evangelism where he met his wife, Leanne. His ministerial career consisted of evangelizing and pastoring. He was currently pastoring the Madill United Pentecostal Church. He was active in community service as a volunteer chaplain to the Army National Guard and ministerial alliance of Marshall County. Bruce also spent a year working at the Madill schools where his warm personality and hard work earned him many friends. Bruce was the caretaker of the Oakland Cemetery took great pride in keeping the grounds looking nice. He loved preaching, playing his harmonicas, singing in quartets, and serving the Lord. The loves of his life were wife and three daughters. Bruce will be greatly missed by his family, church, and friends. His children are Ashleigh McKinzie, 23, of Springfield, Missouri, Alyssa Robinson, 21, of Madill, Oklahoma, and Andrea Robinson, 16, of Madill Oklahoma.
