Obituary

Wilbert Moody Memorial Services Wilbert Moody, 81 of Tishomingo, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Marshall County Medical Center in Madill. He was born in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma to the late Cidney Clarence Moody and Lillie Gertrude Chapman Moody on May 10, 1926. Wilbert was raised in Reagan, Oklahoma and worked as a migrant worker picking cotton following the cotton harvest. Later he lived in Ft. Gibson, Yukon and Choctaw before moving to Tishomingo in 1967. Wilbert married Betty Lavon McDonald on July 3, 1948 in Gainesville, Texas. She preceded him in death on August 10, 2001. Wilbert worked building OG&E plants and as a concrete finisher. He enjoyed coon hunting, deer hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by: Children; Wilbert William Moody, Claremore, Oklahoma Gilbert Lee Moody, Tishomingo, Oklahoma Evon Louise Searle, Tishomingo, Oklahoma Samuel Clarence Moody, Ravia, Oklahoma Glenn Russell Moody, Irving, Texas 12 Grandchildren Several Great Grandchildren Brothers: Bill Moody, Regan, Oklahoma Sisters: Dorothy Bells, Newcastle, Oklahoma Mary Lou Hallmark, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Wilbert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 grandson; David Lee Moody.
