David Russell Lytle, 79 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at his home in Kingston. He was born in Three Sands, Oklahoma to the late Harvey Allen Lytle and Orpha Mae Vanosdel Lytle on July 18, 1929. David grew up in Maud and graduated in 1946. Later he joined the United States Army where he served for 10 years. David moved to Seminole and worked for the Ford Motor Company for several years. He married the love of his life Vera Ellen Hopkins on October 6, 1969 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. David moved to Madill in 1969 and later to Kingston in 1977 where he lived the rest of his life. In 1985 he retired after working 32 years with the Sinclair Oil Company. He enjoyed fishing, boating, working on small engines and lawn mowers. He loved the casinos and attended the Hilltop Baptist church. He is survived by: Love of his life: Vera Lytle, Kingston, Oklahoma Sons: Russell Lytle and wife; Nenia, Many, Louisiana Gary Lytle, Kingston, Oklahoma Scott Lytle and wife; Sandra, Denison, Texas Ricky Lytle and wife; Eva, Marthaville, Louisiana Daughter: Vicki Wise, Many Louisiana Daughter in-law: Dionne Lytle, Kingston, Oklahoma Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers: Charlie Lytle, Midland, Texas Dewey Lytle, Beaumont, Texas Owen Lytle, Maud, Oklahoma Vernon Lytle, Tulsa David was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son; Keith Lytle, 5 brothers; Roland, Bob, Eldon, Lewis and Gerald, 1 sister; Naomi Jones.
