Calvin Lee Rawson, 72 of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed away Monday, July 25, 2011 at the hospital in Ardmore. He was born on April 13, 1939 in Madill, Oklahoma to the late Dave Leroy Rawson and Marie Burgess Rawson. Calvin was raised in Mannsville where he graduated High School. He later moved to Irving, Texas where he lived for several years before moving to the Ardmore and Lone Grove, Oklahoma area. Calvin worked his entire life as a welder and truck driver. He enjoyed throwing horse shoes, race cars and his favorite driver was Hot Rod Shankles. Calvin's greatest joy was anything that had to do with his grandkids. He is survived by: Sons: Terry Rawson, Ardmore, Oklahoma Tony Rawson, Ardmore, Oklahoma 4 Grandchildren : Taylor, Terra, Dalton and Zachary Rawson Brother: Red Rawson, Tishomingo, Oklahoma Calvin was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister; Geneava Brumley.
