Obituary

Beulah Little passed away on 11 June 2012 at the age of 102. She was born Beulah Rose Hardman on 17 March 1910 in Wenatchee, Washington to Charles Sumner Hardman and Alice (Lewman) Hardman. She graduated from Wenatchee High School. During the depression years she worked for Woolworth's in Wenatchee to support her family. Beulah married J. B. Garnett Little on 14 June 1941 in Wenatchee, Washington. She and her husband moved to the Yakima Valley in Washington state shortly after their marriage - living in Prosser, Zillah, Granger and Grandview. She and her husband moved to Madill in 1992 after living in the Yakima Valley for 50 some years. In 1999 she moved from Madill to the OKC area to live at Tealridge Retirement Community in order to be near her daughter. Beulah was a member of the Memorial Road Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Ruby, of OKC, her brother, Ernest Hardman and wife Ila of San Leandro, CA; niece, Susan Kingsbury and husband Ken of Oakland, CA; nephew Nolan Hester of Ardmore, OK; sister-in-law Margaret Smith and husband A.F. of Cordell, She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Ronah Harris and husband, Johnny; Monya Erb and husband, Ted; and Grayling Little and wife, Vickie. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Garnett Little, She was also preceded in death by her parents Alice Lewman Hardman and Charles Hardman, and her step-mother Florence, sister, Ruby Hardman, and nephew Jim Hardman who died in Vietnam, sister-in-law, Gertie Lee Sullens of Colorado, and brother-in-law Royce Little and his wife Lela of Kennewick, WA. Special thanks to Sue Gibson of Edmond, OK who for so many years did so much for Beulah during the time she lived at Tealridge and to the staff at 21st Century Home Health, Sol Amor Hospice, Bradford Village and Dottie and Les Ledbetter neighbors of Beulah but more like family. Beulah Rose Hardman Little was buried on 11 June 2012 at the Oakland Cemetery in Madill, OK next to her husband.
