Amy Jean Garrett, 50 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at her home in Madill. She was born on August 4, 1961 in Durant, Oklahoma to the late Hoyt Wayne Powell and Bonnie Rice Powell. Jeanne was raised in the Madill, Oklahoma area and Graduated from Madill High School in 1979. Jeanne also attended Murray State College for 2 years earning her associate degree. Jeanne later moved to Colorado Springs where she went to cosmetology school graduated and went to work in Oklahoma City at Fantastic Sam hair salon. Moving back to Kingston in 1995 and later moving to Madill where she lived the rest her life. Jeanne attended the Madill first Baptist church and enjoyed crossword puzzles, craft work and reading. She is survived by: Daughter: Piper Harrison and husband Daniel, Madill Grandchildren: Gabriel Harrison, Madill Ivy Harrison, Madill Nieces and Nephews: Tori Roberts, Madill Blake McGlocklin, Madill Travis Powell, Albuquerque, New Mexico Shelby Powell, Albuquerque, New Mexico Kristin Powell, Arlington, Texas Kari Powell, Arlington, Texas Brother: Eric Powell and wife Jeanie, Madill Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents.
