Wiley Creth Fields, 94, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Family Care Center in Kingston. Wiley was born on December 29, 1931, in Comanche, Oklahoma, to the late Omar Lee Fields and Nancy Caroline Dale Fields. He was raised in Loco, Oklahoma, where he graduated from high school. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. On October 4, 1954, Wiley married the love of his life, Alta Ruth Riddles, in Duncan, Oklahoma. Together they shared more than 68 years of marriage before her passing on January 27, 2023. Wiley furthered his education at Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He later attended Oklahoma State University and received his master’s degree in administration. Kingston was home to Wiley for most of his life, where he was known as a devoted family man, a proud veteran, and a respected member of his community. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, and he enjoyed reading.

Daughters: Teresa Fields Lancaster and husband Roger of Kingston, Oklahoma

Susie Hall and husband Ollie of Kingston, Oklahoma

4 grandchildren: Jeremy Fields, Becky Hewitt, Cody Hall, and James Hall

8 great-grandchildren: Avery Caroline Hopkins, William Gray Hopkins, Jacob Wiley Fields, Anya Isabelle Fields, Daphne Ann Marie Fields, Cassidy Bell Hall, Stella James Hall and Arlo Henry Hall

Brother: Terry Fields and wife Christine, Cogar, Oklahoma

Wiley was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alta Ruth Fields; his parents, Omar Lee and Nancy Caroline Fields; and his brothers, Johnny Fields, Jack Fields, and Harry Fields.
