Wanda Joyce Adams, 77, of Oakland, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Alliance Health in Durant, Oklahoma.  She was born on March 29, 1946, in Kingston, Oklahoma to the late Clayton Montgomery Thompson and Jessie Viola Dobson Thompson.  Wanda was raised in Kingston where she graduated high school in 1964 and was a member of the Kingston Alumni Association.  She married Larry James Adams on June 18, 1965, in Kingston.  Wanda worked for the Madill Pants Factory before becoming the tag agent at the Madill Tag Agency for 13 years.  She also worked for Unimin Corporation in Troy, Oklahoma for 19 years and the Oakland Water Department before retiring. Wanda was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.  Wanda loved time with family and friends, but her greatest enjoyment was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
