Victoria Ennis, 49 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Mercy Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on January 27, 1960 in Los Angeles, California to Edward Joseph Backry and Ginger Terry Backry. She was raised in Granda Hills, California, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Hampton High School and later moved to Oklahoma City. In 1985 she moved to Kingston. Victoria married Ronnie Joe Ennis on August 21, 1986 in Saint John, Virgin Islands. Victoria graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University where she received her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business and Marketing. She was an active member and President of the Oklahoma Appaloosa Racing Association and member of the Appaloosa Horse Club. Her business and lifelong love and passion were for the Appaloosa horse breed that she raised, showed, raced and marketed and all of her many animals. Victoria won many World and National awards, 2 of her horses are in the Appaloosa Hall of Fame and many more to come. Her family will continue to carry on her legacy. She was a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church in Durant, an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She is survived by: Husband: Ronnie Joe Ennis, Kingston, Oklahoma Her beloved Son: Austin Ennis, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Daughter: Amber Gray and Husband: Edward, and Children: Trenton, Triston, Treyton, JonThomas and Rhett, Ada, Oklahoma. Mother: Ginger Backry, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Brothers: Scott Backry and Wife; Susan, and Children; Daniel and Laaron, Backry Midland, Texas Tom Backry and Wife; Susan, and Children; Kelsey, Michael, Kenzie and Alex Backry Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Sister: Beverly Haydock and Husband; Bob, and Children; Caleb, Bailey and Ethan Haydock Tulsa, Oklahoma Victoria was preceded in death by her father; Edward J. Backry.
