Obituary

Tereasa Nevial McAtee Miller, 69, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Carrus Hospital in Sherman, Texas.  She was born on August 17, 1954, in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Carroll Ray McAtee and Peggy Jean Barnes McAtee. Tereasa moved all over growing up due to her father being in the United States Navy. In 1969 she moved to Austin, Texas and graduated from McCallum High School in 1972. Tereasa married David Edward Miller on March 31, 1985, in Travis County, Texas.  They lived in Noble, Oklahoma before moving to Kingston where she lived the rest of her life.  Tereasa worked as a dispatcher for the Marshall County Sheriff Office, and she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Navy Fleet Reserves and Kingston Band Booster.  She enjoyed reading, watching movies, cooking, and traveling.  Her greatest love was hosting Thanksgiving and playing with her grandchildren.

Laura Jimenez and husband Joe, Pflugerville, Texas

Many nieces and nephews

Tereasa was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Tommy Smith and Caleb Osborne and 1 sister; Annette Osborne
