Tammy L. Mitchell, the daughter of Jimmy E. Melton and Pamela Freeman Melton, was born in Cleveland, TX on April 25, 1967. She passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 in Ardmore, OK. A resident of Healdton for the past five years, Tammy had previously made her home in Marietta and Ringling, OK. She had been a longtime employee of Sunshine Travel Shop, working as a cashier. Tammy loved to dance and laugh . . . she had a laugh that was infectious. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding her in death were her father, Jimmy Melton; stepfather, Herb Neimeyer; and three brothers, Mark Melton, Pat Neimeyer and Kerry Neimeyer. She is survived by her mother, Pamela Neimeyer of Marietta; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Brandi Barnett of Denton, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Krystal and Ricky Keller of Lone Grove, OK; six sisters and brother-in-law, Tanga Smith of Thackerville, OK, Kavin Ann and Downy Vickery of Houston, TX, Sherry Hoosier of Fredericksburg, TX, Tammy R. Rivard of Fort Worth, TX, and Amanda Melton and Tabitha Kroh, both of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends. Casket bearers Cameron Reed, Thomas Hicks, Chris Cronley, Kevin Cronley, Aaron Vanderburg and Downy Vickery. Honorary bearers are Chad Boaze, Rick Mitchell and Billy Powell.
