Stephen Mark Holley, 62-year-old Thackerville, OK resident, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at the Pecan Tree Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Gainesville, TX. A memorial service for Mark will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Marietta, OK.

Mark was born December 27, 1960, in Warren, AR to Billy and Juanita (Moseley) Holley. Mark worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator on several large construction projects around Texoma such as Lake Ray Roberts. He loved working from the seat of one of those big machines and took great pride in what he did. Most recently, Mark was working as a Ranch Manager just outside of Lindsey, TX.

Mark was a very crafty man that could build just about anything out of what many might consider scrap pieces of wood. Over the years, Mark loved going on hunting and fishing trips and even worked as a hunting guide in west Texas.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Cheryl Hitt of the home in Thackerville; a son, Clay Holley and wife Lacey of Canyon, TX; daughters, Casey Ramsey and husband Russ of Vernon, TX, Christian Holley of Weatherford, TX and Carrie Johnson of Canyon, TX; grandchildren, Kreed, Kasen, and Kinsler Ramsey, Everly and Camden Holley, and Shea and Hayes Hitt; a brother, Richard Holley and wife Bernice of Callisburg, TX; and a sister, Rose Rudisill and husband Preston of Fayetteville, AR.
