Sheila Renee Roberts Scruggs, 50, died on Dec. 30, 2010, with her family and friends by her side. She was born Sept. 30, 1960, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to Ivan Roberts and the late Ruby Webb Roberts. She had lived all her life in the Dickson-Mannsville area, graduating from Dickson High School and Murray State College. On Valentines Day, 1980, she married her special valentine, Bill Scruggs in Mannsville. Sheila and Bill have four children: Renee James and husband, Kent, of Ardmore, Dea Gray and husband, Cooter, of Mannsville, Cory Scruggs of Ardmore, and Leah Mays and husband Johnny, of Mannsville. She also had two stepdaughters, Anita Lynn Simmons and husband, Mitch, of Mannsville, and Jamie Gentry and husband, David, of Ardmore. Sheilas siblings include, Barry Roberts and wife, Renee, of Texas, Bobby Roberts and wife, Sheril, of Ardmore, Tamma Hall and husband, Marty, of Dickson, and Michael Roberts of Lone Grove. Her grandparents were the late Jimmie and Minnie Allen Webb and the late Elton and Frankie Reese Roberts.Sheila loved spending time with family and friends, but especially enjoyed the time spent as Nawna with her grandchildren, Madison and Michael James, Jacye and Jarred Mays, Corbyn Gray, Summer Bachhofer, Travis Simmons and CJ Edwards. She loved to travel and explore new places with her sister-in-law, Nita.Sheilas enthusiasm for life and adventure also spilled over onto her co-workers at Winstar Casino, giving of herself to the younger generation there the wisdom she had acquired in such a short amount of time. She enjoyed a good joke and a hearty laugh as much as anyone could, often times not even being able to finish a story because she would be laughing so hard.Sheila will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
