Obituary

Shauna was born August 11, 1959, in Gainesville, TX to Jack and Jean Carol (Allen) Bacon. She grew up and attended school in Thackerville and graduated as Salutatorian with the Class of 1977. Over the years, Shauna chased her boys all over the countryside to their various sporting events. She also liked to watch the OU Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys play football. To say she was a huge Sooner fan would be an understatement. Shauna loved tending to the plants and flowers in her gardens. She also enjoyed canning the vegetables she harvested to be enjoyed by family and friends for months to follow. Shauna spent countless hours reading her Bible and worked as a substitute teacher from time to time. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marietta and a former member of the Singing Churchwomen of Oklahoma. Shauna spent her days enjoying the many pursuits that life brought her way, but the thing she enjoyed most was gathering her family together, cooking for them, and spending time laughing and catching up.

Shauna was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Kittrell and her grandparents Julia and James Allen.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father, Jack Bacon of Houston, TX and stepdad, Ray Moore of Thackerville; her sons, Jeremy Reed and wife Brooke of Sedgwick, KS and their children Peyton, Jeymon, and Rylan, Cole Reed and wife Lauren of Marietta and their children Avery and Ryder, and Kyle Reed and wife Ashton of Marietta and their children Wyatt and Whitley; a brother, Jim Moore and wife Vicki of Thackerville; a sister, Kim Dane and husband Kirk of Pilot Point, TX; and nieces, Ashton James of Fayetteville, AR, Brianna Moore of Lone Grove, OK, Tori and husband Mike Zinno and their daughter Zoey of Yukon, OK, and Alex and husband Antonio Massagli and their son Micah of Denton, TX.

Casket bearers are Marshal Harmon, Manuel Escobedo, Kyle Banks, Derek Smith, Erick Banks, and Dustin Smith. Honorary bearers are Steve James, Cheryl Sanders, Shelley Monkres, Steven Moore, Tony Reed, Shana Galvan, and the employees of Farmer Jim's Fresh Produce.

The family has asked that those who wish to honor Shauna's memory by making a memorial contribution, please remember the First Baptist Church of Marietta, 402 W. Main St., Marietta, OK 73448.
