Sharon Faye Hartless was born on September 10, 1940, in Jimtown, OK to Floyd Monroe, Sr. and Vera Elizabeth (Chambers) Gipson. She passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK, at the age of 83.

Sharon attended school at Leon, and later attended the Oklahoma Beauty School and Bethany Beauty School. She used her talents as a hairstylist for many years in Oklahoma City and then later in Marietta. While living in Love County, she was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta. Her greatest joy in life were her grandsons.

Sharon married Joe S. Hartless on October 14, 1957, in Ardmore, OK. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2013.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd and Doryce Gipson and Wayne and Alice Gipson; sister, Willie Dean Reed and husband Alvie; and brother-in-law Herman Hartless and sister-in-law Norma Randolph.

Those left to carry on Sharon's legacy are her daughter, Sheryl Isom and husband Steven of Yukon; son, Chris Hartless and wife Rachel of Yukon; five grandchildren, Cole Hartless, Dylan Hartless and wife Brianna, Tanner Hartless, Nick Isom and wife Elizabeth, and Nathan Isom; special friend that was much like a sister, Ellen Eaton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Sharon will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brett Alberda officiating. Interment will follow at the Leon Cemetery in Leon, OK. Services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marietta.

Serving as casket bearers will be Cole Hartless, Dylan Hartless, Tanner Hartless, Nick Isom, Nathan Isom and Michael Campbell. Honorary casket bearer will be Don Reed.
