Obituary

Sharon Hammon, 71, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at the Madill Hospital.  She was born on July 30, 1951, in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Earnest Lee "Rod" Rogers and Donna Jean Ricks Rogers. Sharon was raised in Lindsay, Oklahoma and moved to Madill at the age of 12.  She graduated from the Madill High School in 1969 and later attended Vo-tech in Ardmore, Oklahoma where she received her cosmetologist license.  She worked for the Madill Pants Factory till 1988 when she went to work for the Marshall County Court Clerk Office retiring in 2016. Sharon married Howard Leon Hammon on May 28, 1976, in Ada, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on March 30, 2017.  She was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Madill where she loved going and she has served as church secretary, organized funeral dinner, and sang on the praise team.  Sharon enjoyed going to her grandkids sporting events and her greatest love were her kids and grandkids until her great grandkids came along.

Sydney Navarrett, Kingston, Oklahoma

Great Grandchildren:  Wisdom Davis, Scarlett Davis, Rosco St. Clair, Atticus Finch, Lydia Phillips and Larason Finch.

Brother:                       Rick Rogers and wife Jeanie, Kingston, Oklahoma

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother: Lee Rogers and 1 niece; Tammy Maxey
