Shari began this life on April 12, 1963, in Ardmore, OK, the daughter of Joel and Jo Ella (Morgan) Higgins. She attended schools at Turner where she was an integral part of the basketball team in high school. Shari graduated as salutatorian of the Class of 1981. She furthered her education at Murray State University where she received her associate's degree. Shari worked for more than 27 years in the District Attorney's Office for the 20th Judicial District.

Over the years, Shari developed a passion for riding horses. She loved barrel racing and competed in numerous rodeos. Shari also devoted countless hours to attending her children's school and sports events as they were growing up. There were many things in her life that brought her great joy, but maybe none so much as spending time with her grandchildren.

Shari was preceded in death by her father, Joel Higgins; grandparents, Opal Higgins and Mary and Jimmy Morgan; aunts, Polly Colburn, Mary Johnston, Jessie McGill, and Winnie Hood; and an uncle, Glenn Morgan.

Those left to cherish Shari's memory are her mother, Jo Ella Thompson of Burneyville, OK; sons, Blake Milor of Ardmore and Joel Milor and wife Kayla of McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Austin Milor, Lillian Milor, and Adeline Milor; special friend and significant other, Bruce Mobley of Burneyville, OK; brothers, Fred Higgins of Marietta and Dee Higgins and wife Sherry of Marietta; aunt, Jill Anderson and husband Robert; uncles, Finley Morgan and wife Sharon and Tim Johnston.
