Sandra Martin Phillips 52 , of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at TMC in Denison, Texas. She was born on March 10, 1966 in Kerrville, Texas to Sammy and Peggy Martin. Sandra was raised in Junction, Texas. She graduated from Junction High School in 1984 and attended Texas A&M Commerce. She married Perry Lee Phillips on September 30, 1995 in Madill. Sandra later attended East Central University where she received a master's in School Counseling. She worked for DHS in Ardmore and the past 8 years for Madill Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher. Sandra was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Madill where she was very active. She enjoyed cooking and reading. Sandra's greatest love was being with her family, watching her girls participate in activities and her students with the Special Olympics.
She is survived by:

Parents: Sammy and Peggy Martin, Mason, Texas
Sister: Susan Watkins and husband Stacey, Caddo, Oklahoma
Brother: Drew Martin and wife Heather, Jourdanton, Texas
Nephew: Taylor Roy and fiancé Emma Smith
Great Nephew: Tacen Roy
Niece: Brooke Watkins and Avery Martin
Sandra was preceded in death by her mother in-law; Peggy Goodman Skinner and paternal grandparents; Clay and Leona Martin.
Memorials can be made to the Madill School for the School Supplies, Madill Special Olympics, the Joyce Coleman or Kristy Trammell Scholarships and Cross Point Methodist Church Camp.
