Sally Ann Stephens, of Marietta, OK, was born on December 22, 1948, in Thackerville, OK to Odell and Thelma (Bratcher) Sampson. She passed away from this life on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Medical City of McKinney in McKinney, TX at 74 years of age.

Sally lived most of her life in Love County. She retired from Mercy Love County after 40 years and also worked at the WinStar World Casino in the bingo hall. She loved spending time with her family, but nothing was more important to her than spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Gary Stephens and his wife Jenny of Sachse, TX, and their children, Haley and Peyton Stephens; and her daughter, Jennifer Matthews and husband Steve of Marietta, OK, and their children, Paige, Danyel and Randy Matthews; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Sampson and wife Margaret of Marietta, Danny Sampson and wife Marlene of Thackerville, and JW Sampson and wife Sharon of Thackerville; sister, Linda Whittington and husband David of Valley View, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta with Lawrence Anderson officiating. A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, July 26th, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Marietta.
