Ruby Mae Churchill, 96, of Madill, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on May 10, 1929, in Gene Autry, Oklahoma, to the late Robert Lee Mitchell and Hester Emaline Gaddis Mitchell. Ruby married Gerald Churchill, who preceded her in death in 2010.  Ruby was raised in Ardmore, later lived in Miami, Oklahoma, and moved to Madill in 1994, where she made her home for the remainder of her life. She attended Oakview Baptist Church and was a proud member of the Going Girls and the Quilting Club. Ruby loved crafting, working with flowers, and spending time with those she loved.  Her life was a testimony of quiet strength, creativity, and devotion to family. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Penny Frazier of Madill, Oklahoma; four grandchildren—Tim Youngblood, Jeff Youngblood, Dorathea Shultes, and Mark Crosby; eleven great-grandchildren—Seth, Hope, Chelsea, Beckett, Moses, Esther, Arlo, Rusty, Mary, Havanna, and Allison; and three great-great-grandchildren—LeAnna, Amari, and Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Melvin Crosby.
