Ruby I. Adkins, 95 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 at her home in Healdton, Oklahoma. She was born on May 23, 1915 in Marshall County, Oklahoma to the late Columbus Edward Woods and Liffie Adell Null Woods. She married Eual Adkins on April 3, 1954 in Boston, Texas. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2006. She was a member of the Trinity Southern Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school until the age of 93. Ruby was a past worthy Matron of Eastern Star and one of the Original Madill Art Club members. She is survived by: Daughter: Glenda King, Healdton, Oklahoma 2 Grandchildren: Stephen Cox, Healdton, Oklahoma Alisa Benton and husband Tim, Healdton, Oklahoma 7 Great Grandchildren 6 Great Great Grandchildren 1 Niece 1 Nephew Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister; Opal Maloney, 4 brothers; Aubrey, Lloyd, W. C. and L. G. Woods, 1 grandson; Ronnie Dwayne Cox Jr. and 1 great grandson; Jaylan Benton.
