Roy Lee
Justice
April 19, 1954 – December 17, 2025
Roy Lee Justice, age 71, of Mannsville, Oklahoma passed away December 17, 2025. He was born April 19, 1954 in Ranger, Texas. Roy lived in Mannsville, Oklahoma with his wife of 20 years, Wanita Justice. He was raised in Texas and Oklahoma and graduated from Milburn High School in 1972. Roy worked many years in the oil field before establishing The Ardmore Truck Company with his father, J.T. Justice. He later retired from Michelin US-9 after 47 years of loyal service. Roy was a strong advocate for public education. He served more than 20 years on the Mannsville Board of Education including time as President. Roy began serving on the OSSBA Board of Directors in 2011. He was a long-time member of the board policy committee assisting in creating the governance policies for the organization. He served until 2024 when he chose not to run again. He most likely would have continued to be elected by his region had he not decided it was time to retire from the OSSBA BOD. Roy earned the BEE award at the Gold Level in 2015. This is an award no longer given by the OSSBA, but signifies an amazing amount training and time that was dedicated to the students of Mannsville and Oklahoma. Roy believed schools should be communities of care and worked tirelessly to support small schools across Oklahoma. Roy was a devoted Freemason and lived by the principles of brotherhood, charity and integrity. In later years, he found great joy serving as Santa Claus for children throughout Carter and Johnston Counties. This role was especially meaningful when sharing Christmas magic with his grandchildren. Above all, Roy cherished his role as Pepaw. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them new skills, cheering them on and sharing stories with family and friends.
