Roxy Ann Norvell was born May 27, 1940 in Jimtown, Oklahoma the daughter of Burl and Nonnie Miller. She passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in Medical Center of Plano, Plano, TX, at the age of 72. She married Johnny Sylvester Norvell on June 11, 1956 in Morton, Texas. He would later precede her in death in March of 1999. Mrs. Norvell was baptized at an early age and her Baptist faith filled her heart. She was a very loving and caring lady who would go out of her way to help a friend or even a stranger. Mrs. Norvell owned and operated numerous businesses over the years that ranged from restaurants to convenience stores. She loved cooking and visiting with her family. She also liked dancing at the Senior Center. Quite often after a long day at work you would find her relaxing or taking a much needed nap in her chair. Mrs. Norvell was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband; and by three sons, Johnny Norvell, Terry Norvell, and Keith Norvell. Surviving is one son, Jimmy Norvell of Snyder, Texas; one daughter, Anna Perryman of Andrews, Texas; two sisters, Lou Gregg of Wilson, Oklahoma and Jane Moore and her husband B.D. of Davis, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
