Ronald Lee Behrens

Ronald Lee Behrens passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Ronnie was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 17, 1956. He was a devoted husband to his late spouse Kim Behrens and a loving father to his children Kyla and Chad Selvy, Veronica and Scott Clement, and J.J. and Brandi Gray. He was an adoring grandfather to his grandkids Ali and Miles Grigson, Cole Selvy, and Luke, Leighton and Kyler Clement. Almost a year ago to the day, he welcomed to the world his first great grandchild, Emory Grigson.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Flo Behrens, and his brothers Kenny and Steve Behrens. He is survived by his sister Cozetta Wallace and her spouse David. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Kourtni Robinson and Tanner Behrens, with whom he shared a special relationship following the death of their father.

After graduating from Madill High School in 1974, Ronnie began working at the Michelin tire plant in Ardmore, where he was employed for more than 40 years. Following his retirement in 2014, he helped his wife Kim run her boutique pet business, Mimi’s Pet Tags. Ronnie spent his golden years spoiling his grandkids and traveling to craft shows to help his friends Jed and Kim Hoppers, who purchased the business in 2021.

Ronnie will be remembered by his loved ones not only for his caring spirit and extraordinary work ethic, but for his love of Dr. Pepper, Marlboro Lights and cheering on his grandkids at sporting events with a bag of popcorn in hand.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cori, Megan and Crystal with Centric Home Health and Hospice Care, who treated Ronnie with kindness and care in his final days.

Casket Bearers: David Wallace, Danny Marris, Jed Hoppers, Terry Hewitt, Cole Selvy, Luke Clement, Kyler Clement
