Robert Ernest Dilks, 88, passed away on February 26, 2026, at Alliance Health Hospital in Madill, Oklahoma. He was born on April 13, 1937 to the late Ernest Sleeter Dilks and Lillie Nola King Dilks in Blackwood, New Jersey. Robert was raised in New Jersey and lived in Philadelphia, Connecticut and Dallas, Texas before moving to Kingston, Oklahoma in 1995. He worked in real estate for many years and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. In his free time, Robert enjoyed watching birds and going fishing, finding peace and joy in the outdoors. He married Mary Jo Rappolee on June 18, 1960, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death on December 8, 2024.

Robert is survived by his son, Mike Dilks of Kingston; two grandchildren, Lloyd Dilks and Sarah McCracken; one brother, Lee Dilks of Pennsylvania; and one sister, Barbara Dilks of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, his son, Scott Dilks; and his daughter-in-law, Katrenia.

Robert will be remembered for his love of family, his quiet enjoyments in life, and the legacy he leaves behind in those who knew and loved him.
