Obituary

Rickey Dowell Clark, 75 of Madill, Oklahoma passed away at his home Sunday, July 31 surrounded by his family and Pastor Wanda Littrell.  He was born on December 4, 1946, in Wetumka, Oklahoma, the son of the late Lewis and Catherine Murray Clark. Rickey attended Moss schools through graduation and then attended Oklahoma State University receiving his bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science.  He married the love of his life, Margaret Bailey Landgraf on August 17, 1979 in Gainesville, Texas.  Rickey worked for the USDA, Farmers Home Administration his entire career and was a fixture with many of farm and ranch clients throughout Marshal, Love, Johnston, Bryan and other Oklahoma Counties where he developed many long time and special friends. He was also a Mason, being an active member of the Masonic Lodge of Madill.  He was proud of his contributions to the service of being a Mason along with his fellow Masons.

Rickey enjoyed beyond all spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter, Jordyn.  He also was an avid fisherman, hunter, gun and marksman, as well as spending time just tooling around in his workshop and garden.  In his "spare" time he enjoyed watching classic western movies and TV series.  Rickey and his Brother/Friend, Earl, planned annual trips to Pagosa Springs, camping at Williams Creek, with various friends and family. Periodically inviting friends, Mickey Imgarten, Kirk Hallmark and family, Bobby Sharp and Vernon Clark on these expeditions, camping and fishing and simply enjoying God's beautiful work in the mountains of Colorado. He was a member of the Madill First United Methodist Church, serving as a Logo's table leader with the children of the church and community and serving as greeters for the congregation, participating as a Communion usher. He loved making the Saturday round of local garage sales, where is has acquired quite a collection of treasures and also shared his bounty with friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Clark of the home; son, Steven Landgraf and wife Jeri of DeQueen, Arkansas; Daughter, LuAnn Sharp, and husband Bobby of Marietta, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Zach Sharp and wife, Bekah of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Kalen Olivia Sharp of Ft. Worth, Texas; Lori Simms and husband, Mark of Bailey, Texas; Great Grandchildren, Jordyn Sharp of Stillwater, OK; Leah Toney of Bailey, Texas and Shaiha Toney of Bonham, Texas, Sister in-Law; Mary Clark.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Murray, Vernon, and infant brother, Joe and niece, Jessie Clark.

Pallbearers: Earl Wiesner, Colin Howell, Bobby Sharp, Ronald Gilmore, Fred Huebsch, Custer McFalls, Clark Kaupke, Logan Beard and Harry Richardson.
