Rickey began this life on September 18, 1962, in Clinton, OK the son of Sammy and Wanda (Kerr) Brewer. He attended schools in Marietta where he graduated with the Class of 1981.

Rickey was preceded in death by his father, Sammy; grandson, Landon Jacquez; and grandparents, John and Pearl Brewer and Robert and Fredia Kerr.

Those left to cherish Rickey's memory are his mother, Wanda of the home; brother, Bobby Brewer of the home; daughter, Heather Jacquez and her husband of California; son, John Brewer of California; and grandchildren, Averiel Jacquez and Emmersyn Jacquez both of California.

Honorary pallbearers are Daniel "Hogie" Howard, Steve Birdwell, Jerry Burnett, Denny Moore, and Clayton Hughes.
