Richard Doyle Stewart, 89, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at his daughters' home in Blanchard, Oklahoma. He was born on February 28, 1936, in Colbert, Oklahoma to Dan Stewart and Beatrice Stewart.  Richard was raised in Enville, Oklahoma.  Over the years he worked for the City of Oklahoma City and United Engines where he worked as an Allison Diesel transmission mechanic.  He enjoyed making people laugh, working on his many cars and trucks, helping others and listening to music.

He is survived by:

Children:         Tammy Terrel and husband Mike, Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Ron Stewart and wife Lorraine Bruno, Santa Rosa, California

Eric Richards, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

16 Grandchildren:  Whitney Wells, Courtney Bain, Dalton Terrel, Kenndi Tipton, Aislinn Miner, Chad Stewart, Chris Stewart, Brian Stewart, Shannon Sullivan, Brandi Mathis, Megan Helmandollar.

14 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Siblings:   Don Stewart, Marietta, Oklahoma

Richard was preceded in death by his father and mother, wife Wilma Stewart, son Randall Stewart and daughters Beverly Stewart and Cleta Chandler, Sisters Marie Scott, Mary Akin and Lois Riggs.

A celebration of Richards life will be held later.
