The son of Gregorio and Carmen DeLeon Ramon, Reynaldo "Ray" Rene Ramon was born December 14, 1968 in Ardmore, OK. He passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 in the Durant Medical Center, Durant, OK, at the age of 46. Mr. Ramon had made his home at Leon before moving to the Madill area two years ago. He had previously worked as a roughneck in the oil field and was employed by CM Trailers in Madill at the time of his death. Ray liked to play dominoes, cheat at spades, fish, drink, eat candy, and spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the OU Sooners. Ray also enjoyed playing pool and singing karaoke, especially "LaBamba" and "Wasted Days and "Wasted Nights." He liked the movie "Blood In Blood Out" and would watch it over and over again. He was a hardworking man who worked until the day he passed away. As the backbone of the family, he always said he worked hard so his children and other family members wouldn't have to need for anything. His family remembers him as always being happy and joking with everyone, even the day he passed away. Ray was very loved and will be missed dearly. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, Joe Ramon. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, R.J. and Julie Ramon of Madill; daughter, Ashley Ramon, also of Madill; six brothers, Ruben Ramon of Hale Center, TX, Clifford Ramon of Rubottom, OK, Gregory Ramon of Madill, Disco Ramon of Oklahoma, and Joseph Ramon and Sylvester Ramon of Texas; nine sisters, Yolanda Ramon of Lubbock, TX, Lisa Ramon of Leon, Delores Ramon of Canyon, TX, Rosanna Ramon of Lubbock, Monica Ramon of Dallas, TX, Carolyn Ramon of Lubbock, Blanca Ramon of Dallas, Leticia Ramon of Rotan, TX, and Lucy Ramon of Lone Grove, OK; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Chubby, and Ariana. Serving as casket bearers will be Gregory Ramon, Ruben Ramon, Clifford Ramon, Larry Hartman, Johnny Trevino, and Raymond Garcia. Honorary bearers are his sisters, Lisa Ramon, Delores Ramon, Yolanda Ramon, Rosanna Ramon, Monica Ramon, Carolyn Ramon, Blanca Ramon, Leticia Ramon, and Lucy Ramon.
