Randy began this life on June 9, 1949, in Stillwater, OK, the son of H.W., Jr. and Christine "Millie" Stockton. He graduated from Marietta High School with the Class of 1967 and then went on to further his education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, OK. After receiving his bachelor's in education, Randy moved to Oregon where he taught and was a track coach. In 1987, Randy found the beloved mother of his children, with whom he shared his greatest joys. He and Janeice were married for 23 years and together they built a loving family.

While back in Marietta, Randy started working as a contractor in the residential construction sector. He built custom homes throughout the area. When Randy wasn't working on someone's dream home, he was out working on the family farm. He loved spending time on the farm and tending to the cattle. Though working hard was in his blood, he never missed an opportunity to slow down and visit with his children and grandchildren.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are the mother of his children, Janeice McKinney of Marietta; son, Clay McKinney and wife Staci of Marietta; daughters, Amber White and husband Jeremy of Ardmore and April Allen and husband Mark of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren, Waylon McKinney, Paisley McKinney, Brody White, Caroline White, Alivia Allen and Miles Allen; brothers, Tom McKinney of Marietta and Joe McKinney of Ardmore, OK; sisters, Carolyn Gates and husband Michael of Broken Arrow, Jennifer Fenn and husband Gary of Ardmore, and Pam Thompson and husband Pat of Midwest City, OK.

Honorary bearers are Clay McKinney, Waylon McKinney, Jeremy White, Brody White, Mark Allen, and Garrett Young.
