Phyllis Costello, 67, of Ardmore, OK was born October 11, 1944 in Brownwood, TX, the daughter of Herman and Lois Mobley Dewbre, Mrs. Costello passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 in Ardmore. Phyllis was raised in Love County and had been a resident of Ardmore in recent years. She was a feature writer for the Marietta Monitor and several other newspapers. Phyllis was an avid scrabble player and a volunteer at local public libraries and the Love County Pioneer Museum. She was a member of the Rubottom Baptist Church. Her father preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Lois Dewbre of Rubottom; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Mary Costello of Euless, TX and Chad and Julie Costello of Austin, TX; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Nancy Dewbre of Santa Fe, NM; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Bill Lantz of Rubottom and Cathy and Tim Tillman of Edmond, OK; and four grandchildren, Maggie, Katie, Trevor and Morgan.
