Peggy Ann Tabler, of Thackerville, Oklahoma, was born on August 14, 1932, in Burneyville, OK to the late Ernest and Josie (Simmons) Fultz. She passed from this life on Friday, December 2, 2022, in Marietta, OK at the age of 90 years . ​

Peggy was one of thirteen children. She had worked in numerous capacities, including home health, and later retired from the Ardmore Veterans Home . She had also worked with the Headstart Program in Thackerville for over 20 years and loved and considered all the children in the Thackerville community her own.

Peggy married Erdean "Skinny Man" Tabler, Sr. on March 30, 1957, in Durant. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2015.

Preceding Peggy in death are her parents; husband; children, LaJan Thompson and Erdean "Bug" Tabler, J r .; brothers, Richard, Claude, A.K., Frank, Price, James, and Gordon; and sisters, Louise, and Pauline.

Surviv ors include her two children, son Jackie Barnes of Thackerville, and daughter, Alashia Fox of Ardmore; seven grandchildren; 17 great - grandchildren; eight great - great - grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda Norvell of Portales, NM, currently of Gainesville, TX.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. , Monday, December 5, 2022, at the Mount Zion Cemetery in Thackerville with Lawrence Anderson officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.
