Peggy LeAnn Johnson, of Marietta, OK, was born on December 2, 1964, in Sun Valley, CA to Lewis LeeRoy and Peggy Fay (Letham) Hibbs. She passed from this life on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at her Marietta residence at the age of 59 years.

Peggy was raised in Amarillo, TX, Tucumcari, NM, and southern California, before eventually making her way to Oklahoma, moving to Marietta in 1995. She was a Certified Nurse's Assistant and enjoyed shopping, drinking Mountain Dew, and talking on the telephone, especially to her daughter Kim. She was a devoted mother and grandmother in her later years of life and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding Peggy in death are her parents.

Left to cherish Peggy's memory are her daughter, Kim Peña and husband, Jesus of Marietta; grandchildren, Logan Fraire, Lane Peña, Chevy Peña, LeAnn Peña and a special grandbaby, Amber Compton Johnson; brothers, Eddie Rimel of Amarillo,  and Jim Rimel of Ardmore, OK; nieces and nephew, Tieshia Rimel-Fields and husband Timothy, Nichole Rimel, Natasha Rimel and Chase Rimel, all from Amarillo; special family members, Maryann Fraire and Arthur Fraire; and special friends, Randy Rex Benson and Melissa Edwards.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brett Alberda officiating. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta. A time of visitation will be Friday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers will be Logan Fraire, Lane Peña, Jesus Peña, Arthur Fraire and Cory Taylor. Honorary bearers are Chad and Gracie Johnson.
