Patsy Darlene Hambrick, 78-year-old Marietta, OK resident, peacefully passed from this life Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at her home in Marietta. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2025, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Lawrence Anderson officiating. Patsy will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Lakeview Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Patsy began this life on July 20, 1947, in Marietta, the daughter of James Ernest and Onetta Ruby (Stuckey) Fincher. Not long after graduating high school, she married Royce Hambrick on September 3, 1966, at a ceremony in Love County. The two spent more than 41 years together before Royce passed in 2008.

Patsy worked as a hairdresser. She owned and operated a salon right on Main Street in downtown Marietta for several years. Patsy loved working out of her own place and cherished the relationships that she developed through it over the years. When she wasn't at the salon, Patsy enjoyed working in her flower gardens or going antiquing. She also liked to express her competitive spirit in a friendly game of dominoes or cards. Occasionally, she liked to slow down, relax, and watch her favorite soap opera, The Bold and The Beautiful. Many things brought her great joy, but Patsy was most passionate about interior decorating and had a knack for refinishing old furniture.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Royce; brothers, Ernie Fincher and Jimmy Don Fincher; and sister, Barbara Lemons. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Glen Hambrick of Marietta; daughter, Sheila Jo Groves of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Britney Hambrick, Tamara Hambrick, Rylee Groves, and Kage Groves; brothers, Joe Dale Fincher of Marietta, Mike Fincher and wife Becky of Lone Grove, OK, and Brent Fincher of Marietta.
