Patsy Casciel Grisham of Marietta, OK, was born on November 17, 1931, in Arcadia, LA, to Preston Lamar and Lilla Lucille (Methvin) Johnson. She passed away peacefully at her home in Marietta on Thursday, July 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 94.

Patsy graduated from Bossier City (LA) High School in 1947. She later met and married the love of her life, William Leonard Grisham, on April 9, 1948, in Mountain Home, AR. They shared nearly 55 years of marriage before his passing on January 7, 2003.

Together they made their home in Deerfield, KS, Duncan, OK, Blanchard, OK, and Little City, OK, before settling in Marietta in 1960. Patsy was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Marietta and was also a dedicated member of the Pink Ladies. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and attending bluegrass festivals, but above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Lilla Johnson; her beloved husband, William Leonard Grisham; and her son, William Lamar "Marty" Grisham.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jo Ellen Woodall and husband Robert of Poteau, OK; daughter-in-law, Linda Grisham of Marietta; grandchildren, Eric Grisham and wife Erica, Mignon Jessie and husband Kyle, Melissa Stewart and husband Barry, and Michael Woodall; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous extended family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on 10:00 A.M, Thursday, July 23, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta with Lawrence Anderson officiating and Paul Riley assisting. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22 at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Serving as casket bearers will be Eric Grisham, Logan Grisham, Barry Stewart, T. Jay Woodall, Paul Riley, and Gary Campbell. Honorary casket bearers are Margaret Sampson, Pearl Campbell, Marie Hood, Denise McGill, Melissa Stewart, Mignon Jessie, Linda Grisham, and Jo Ellen Woodall.
