Pansy Irene Herndon Henson, 92 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Family Care Center in Kingston.  She was born on August 21, 1923 in Powell, Oklahoma to the late Thomas Kelly Herndon and Lydia Ann Harrison Herndon.  Pansy was raised in Powell and lived in Fobb and the Willis area her entire life.  She married Robert Vanoy Henson on April 21, 1942 in Fobb and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1997.  Pansy worked as a Public School Teacher in Enos, Powell, Willis-Fobb and she also worked at the Madill Pants Factory. She was a member of the Powell Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and she enjoyed quilting, sewing, canning and gardening.

Pansy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
