Oran Randolph Dew, 80, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Durant, Oklahoma. He was born on November 11, 1945, in Ada, Oklahoma, to the late Ernest Carl Dew and Sarah Jane Skaggs Dew.  Oran was raised in Ada and graduated from Latta High School in 1963. On December 27, 1963, he married the love of his life, Virginia Marie Simpson, in Ada. He proudly served several years in the Army National Guard. Oran worked as a welder for Arkla Gas Company for many years. In 2013, he moved to Kingston, Oklahoma, where he lived the remainder of his life.  He was affiliated with Union Valley Baptist Church in Ada. Oran enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling, and he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

6 nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Stephen Doyal Dew, sisters; Oleta Choate and Pauline Roberts, 1 brother: Ed Dew.
