Nelson Lee Landgraf Funeral Service

Nelson Lee Landgraf 74, of Madill, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in Norman Oklahoma.  He was born on February 22, 1944 on his parent's farm in Madill, to the late Roy Lee Landgraf and Tennie Marie Rutherford Landgraf.  Nelson was raised in Madill where he graduated high school in 1963.  He married Linda Allen, of Madill, in February 6, 1965. After a short period in Dallas, Texas, Nelson and Linda moved back to his family farm and worked as a farmer and rancher until 1991.  Nelson began working heavy machinery for large construction sites located in Mississippi, and various other states.  Nelson moved back to Madill in 2008 where he worked ranch hand jobs for local farmers.  In 2014, Nelson was admitted into Four Seasons Rehabilitation Center where he underwent treatment for Dementia and Alzheimer's.  In Nelson's last days, he was admitted into Cedar Creek Care Center in Norman. Nelson enjoyed drawing and painting, laughing and poking fun, woodworking and building things for others, welding, mushroom hunting, and most of all, friends and his family. He was a kind soul, perfectionist and very creative.

Nelson is proceeded in death by his parents, Roy and Tennie Landgraf, brother, Lee O'Daniel Landgraf and sister, Laverne O'Steen.
