Neale Benson Mathis, 78, of Lebanon, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at his home in Lebanon.  He was born on March 31, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Marion Benson Mathis and Mary Jane Elliott Mathis.  Neale was raised in Midwest City and graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1964.  He served several years in the United States Navy.  Neale married Barbara June Moore on September 2, 1972, in Oklahoma City.  They lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Yukon, Oklahoma.   In 1986 they moved to Lebanon, for several years before being transferred to Big Spring Texas.  In 1998 they returned to Lebanon where he lived the rest of his life. Neale worked for Bells, Imtec and retired in 2011 from 3M Corp.   He was a member of the Lebanon Christian Fellowship Church and enjoyed working in his garden, woodworking and bragging about his grandkids.
