Nancy Dorris Scribner, 70 of , Madill, Oklahoma passed away on December 19, 2022, at the Alliance Hospital in Madill. Nancy was born on April 23, 1952, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to the late Dorris Bruster and Charlesy Bonnez Bruster. She was raised and attended the Madill schools all of her life. On November 25, 1987 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma she married her high school sweetheart, William (Bill) Dean Scribner. She and Bill made their home in Madill working hard as young parents and raising their children. She worked as a nurse's aide at Madill hospital, as bookkeeper for Qualls Oil Company and Ratcliff Oil Company before attending Murray State College where she received her degree in nursing. After receiving her degree, she worked primarily as RN and Nurse Manager at Rolling Hills Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. Nancy also worked as an RN for a local home health agency where she enjoyed the gratitude from being of service to the those in the community, especially the ones that were friends of her family.
Nancy was affiliated with the Baptist faith and attended Oakview Baptist Church and Cross N Spurs Church.
She felt a calling to be of service to people and she honored that calling. It would make a long list of the ways that she showed up, gave of herself and moved those she loved forward. Nancy was just a little bit of everything. A wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, gardener, farmer, housekeeper, cook, caretaker, nurse, social worker, chaos coordinator. just an over-all miracle worker always getting it together for her family. The family is comforted knowing that Nancy has been reunited with all those she loved.

Special Niece: Angela Morgan, Tishomingo, Oklahoma
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son; John Scribner and 3 great grandchildren; Kourtney, John Ryder and John Christian
Casket Bearers: Marland Pruitt, Jason Morgan, Kevin Morgan, Jason Bruster, Bobby Bruster and Wesley Coker
