Obituary

Nadine Yeats 63, of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 21 2016 at her home in Ardmore.  She was born on July 7, 1953 in Dos Palos, California to the late Wilburn Ray Pickens and Dolories (Sis) Allen Pickens.  Nadine was raised in Dos Palos until the 6th grade when she moved to Madill where she graduated from Madill High School in 1971.  She married in Madill and moved to the West Coast later living in Phoenix and Las Vegas before moving back to Madill in 1990.  Nadine raised 4 kids in Madill and worked at the Madill Wal-Mart for 18 years before retiring and moving to Durant.  She eventually ended up living in Ardmore where she lived the rest of her life.  Nadine was a faithful member of the Rawhide Cowboy Church in Gene Autry where she loved to help cook for everyone.  She spent many hours watching the Food Network, laying in the pool and watching the animals that played in the yard.  Her greatest love was spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by:

Melissa Hutchens and husband Bryan, Ardmore, Oklahoma

Grandchildren:               Brooke and Matthew Wells, Coltan Sparks, Dalton Yeats, Ty Yeats, Shambrie Kemp and Tommy Farris, RaShae Kemp and Kevin Grewing, Kassy Kemp, Desirae Kemp, Kaden Kemp, Alyssa Yeats and Curtis Beverly, Emree Hutchens, Darren Hutchens, Angie and Jason Morgan, Casy Blue, Nacona Blue and Rio Zamora.

Great-Grandchildren:      Addicus Wells, TJ Farris, Tuff, Rikki, Dixie, Jagger and Jett Morgan.

Sister:                           Phyllis Thrasher and husband Steve, Shafter, California

Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Darrell and Kenneth Pickens, one sister; Colleen Bryant, one nephew, two nieces, one great-nephew, and a great-niece.
