Obituary

Gail began this life on August 7, 1954, in Glendale, CA, the daughter of Rev. Nathan and Iris (Donham)Brewer. She was raised in California and graduated from Simi Valley High School. As the daughter of a minister, Gail was deeply involved in church life from an early age and lovingly taught preschool at her father's church for several years. After moving to Oklahoma, Gail worked as an inspector at the Ardmore Pants Factory for approximately fifteen years. She later worked for Southern Vending for four additional years.

Gail had a joyful and creative spirit. She loved collecting monkeys, ornaments, and figurines, and she delighted in arts and crafts projects of all kinds. One of her favorite traditions was making homemade suckers to share with friends and family—a small gesture that reflected her big heart. Gail took pride in her appearance and was always put together, never missing a hair or nail appointment.

She was a faithful member of Mary Niblack Baptist Church in Ardmore and had also been a past member of Eastman Baptist Church in the Eastman community of Love County, OK.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Nathan and Iris Brewer, and her parents-in-law, Jimmy and Alice Moody.

Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Larry Moody, of the home; her sons, Jeff Rogers and wife Ashley of Ada, OK, and Curtis Moody and wife Jymme of Townville, SC; her sisters, Barbara Conn of TN, Vonita Soroko of CA, and April Barkley of CA; six grandchildren, LauWren, Caitlyn, Gracie, Mikayla, Trent, and Garrett; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Gail will be remembered for her creativity, her generosity, her attention to detail, and the deep love she had for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
