Mildred Phillis "Millie" Burton passed from this mortal world in the wee hours of the morning of July 27, 2023.  Millie was born to the late Willard and Emma Woods Burton on December 24, 1948 at the family home in Marietta, Oklahoma.  She graduated from Marietta High School in 1967 and from Murray State College in 1969.  Millie married Charles Franklin "Chuck" Lewis on June 6, 1969.  They were married for 30 years and had two daughters, Charlotte, and Addie Beth.  Millie was the deputy assessor for Marshall County for many years and retired from BancFirst in 2014.  Millie leaves behind many loved ones to mourn her loss and cherish her memory.
