Michiel E. Barker Sr. Funeral Services Michiel E. Barker Sr., 65 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was born on October 6, 1948 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to the late Willard Wesley Barker Jr. and Sylvia Fayetta Domstead Barker. He was raised in Guthrie where he graduated high school in 1966. Michiel later joined the United State Marines and served from 1971 to 1974 on the crash crew. He moved back to Oklahoma and married Perla Norcio on July 27, 1989 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Michiel also lived in Moore, Oklahoma and Rockport, Texas before moving to Kingston where he lived the rest of his life. He owned and operated Barker Pawn shop in Kingston and enjoyed fishing, boating, fast cars and hunting. He is survived by: Wife: Perla Barker, Kingston, Oklahoma Children: Michiel E. Barker Jr. and wife Patti, Kingston, Oklahoma Bobby D. Barker and wife Robin, South Dakota Craig Barker, Colorado Carrie L. Taylor and husband Robert, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Christy D. Lutz and husband Troy, Moore, Oklahoma Tammy K.
