Michael Rose, Sr., of Marietta, Oklahoma, was born on January 19, 1939, in New Ulm, MN to Larry and Ruth (Olson) Harbitz. He passed from this life on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the Mercy Memorial Health Center in Ardmore, OK at the age of 85 years.

Michael married the former Mary Conlin in March 1960, in Brookings SD. She preceded him in death on October 13, 2001.

Left to cherish Michael's memory are his son, Michael Rose, Jr.; daughter, Kathleen Rose; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Les Rose, Sr. and his wife JoAnn; and many family members in Minnesota and Iowa.

Cremation services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Service. No services are scheduled at this time.
