Michael Lee Pierce, 60, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Monday, September 28, 2009 at his home in Madill. He was born on November 3, 1948 in Overbrook, Oklahoma to the late Henry Christopher Pierce and Doris B. Kirkwood Pierce. Michael was raised in McMillan and graduated from the Madill High School in 1966. He later joined the United States Army on December 18, 1968 and served during the Vietnam War. Michael married Gaylynn Jackson on July 11, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He later moved to Pruittville where he lived the rest of his life. Michael enjoyed hauling trailers, puzzles, any outdoor activities, canoeing and riding four wheelers. He is survived by: Wife: Gaylynn Pierce, Madill, Oklahoma Sons: Clint Pierce, Pittsfield, Massachusetts Storm Pierce, Norman, Oklahoma Connor Pierce, Madill, Oklahoma Brothers: Ted Pierce, Enville, Oklahoma Pat Pierce, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Sister: Henryetta Eudy, Richardson, Texas 2 grandchildren Michael was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother; Jerry Pierce.
