Mary Ann Putman, 88, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on June 9, 2024. She was born on December 1, 1935, in Madill, Oklahoma, to the late Richard Rogers and Ruth Henderson Rogers. On May 7, 1960, Mary married the love of her life, Willie Edward (Bill) Putman, who preceded her in death on January 3, 2022. She dedicated much of her life to caring for her family as a stay-at-home mother. Mary did work a short time at Madill Public School in the cafeteria and Pettijohn Springs Christian Camp in Madill. She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ and found joy in hobbies such as sewing and painting.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Annette Young, and husband John, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Sherry Putman; three grandchildren: Cory Putman and wife Erin, Holden Young, and Noah Young and wife Cameron; and two great-grandchildren: Thea and Elliott Putman. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Rogers, and wife Angela.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Putman, son Richard Putman, brother Ronnie Rogers, and sister Donna Dorman.

Mary will be remembered for her love, kindness, and dedication to her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
