Mary Jo Kaney 79, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the hospital in Durant, Oklahoma.  She was born on March 26, 1939 in Lark, Oklahoma to the late George Henry Pittman and Ida Faye Smith Pittman.  Mary Jo was raised in Lark where she attended the Lark school.  She married Vel Ramon Kaney on April 18, 1962 in Duncan, Oklahoma.  Mary Jo and family moved to California where they lived for a short time before moving to Enos and she has lived the past 20 years in Madill.  She worked for several years at the Madill Pants Factory and enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and loved being with her grandchildren.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers; Jack, Cecil, Robert, Thomas and Henry and 1 sister; Julia Walker.
