Services for Martha J. Flanagan, 87, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, in the Chapel of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta, OK, with Bro. Travis Huffman officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta.

Martha was born July 25, 1931 in Cooke County, TX, the daughter of Walter and Myrtle Bradford Scott. She passed away Sunday, December 9, in Tulsa, OK where she had resided the past four years to be near her daughter, Debbie Roberts of Bixby, OK.

A resident of Love County most of her life, Martha was a 1948 graduate of Thackerville High School. She married Norman C. Flanagan June 16, 1951 in Thackerville, and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2004. Martha worked as a dental assistant in Marietta and retired from Nita's Flowers after 29 years, working in sales and design. She was also well known throughout the community as an excellent cook and family host. Martha was a member of the Marietta Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include her son, Scott Flanagan and wife Teri of Marietta; daughter, Debbie Roberts and husband David of Bixby; brother, J.B. Scott and wife Tommie of Richardson, TX; two sisters-in-law, Ann Scott, also of Richardson, and Edris Scott of Marietta; three grandchildren, Ashley Roberts Green and husband Nathan, Khriston Wood and husband Joey, and Ryan Flanagan and wife Ashley; and six great-grandchildren, Madison Wood, Meghan Wood, Garrett Flanagan, Wyatt Flanagan, Shelby Green, and Sheyenne Green.

Serving as casket bearers are Ryan Flanagan, Nate Green, Joey Wood, Scott Flanagan, David Roberts, and Dustin Scott.
